The General Assembly of the European Deaf Sports Organization (EDSO) is planned to be held in Azerbaijan in 2027.
According to Idman.biz, the announcement was made by the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Deaf Sports Committee, Namig Novruzov, at a press conference.
He emphasized that the committee is implementing various social projects across the country: “The goal is to increase interest in sports among children, adolescents, and young people with hearing impairments and to support their physical and psychological development. For this purpose, close cooperation has been established with specialized schools and public organizations, and new sports programs are being developed in different regions.”
It should be noted that the Summer Deaflympics will take place from November 15 to 26.
