As part of World Space Week 2025, a training session titled “Space Superhuman: Empowerment and Physical Readiness” was organized through a partnership between the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) and the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA), under the initiative of the KOSMIK Academy operating within Azercosmos.
According to information provided by AMADA to Idman.Biz, the training aimed to raise public awareness about enhancing the physical and psychological endurance required for living and working in space, as well as the strengthening and preparation methods used by astronauts and athletes.
AMADA’s Executive Director Tahmina Tagi-zade discussed topics such as strategies for improving human performance and resilience in extreme environments, as well as ethical principles in human development, and answered participants’ questions.
It should be noted that this year’s theme for World Space Week is “Living in Space”, focusing on educating people about human adaptation, work, and life beyond Earth.
