A kickboxing and MMA sports competition was held in the Gardabani district of Georgia.
Idman.biz, citing AZERTAC, reports that the event was organized by the “Caucasus Arena” Sports Association within the framework of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora projects.
The aim is to increase interest in sports in the region, promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, and strengthen local sports infrastructure.
The organizers plan to hold more sporting events in the region in the near future, providing ongoing training and competitions for youth. Such projects will help elevate the sports culture in the region and support young people in pursuing professional sports careers.
Approximately 200 athletes from various regions of Georgia participated in the tournament.
The tournament, held under intense and healthy competition, was met with great interest from spectators.
In the event overseen by professional referees, the “Sartichala-Mughanlo” team took first place, the “Yormuganli” team second, and the Gardabani “Kalinovka” team third among the teams.
In professional fights, Mahmud Abdulayev, Nijat Aliyev, Elimkhan Dashdamirov, Mehman Mamadov, and Sarkhan Nabiyev won first place in various weight categories.
