Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira spoke about Azerbaijani fighter Rafael Fiziev, whom he will face in his next bout.
"To be honest, Fiziev is a very tough opponent. He moves well, is excellent in stand-up, behaves respectfully, and has already fought some big names. As I always say, I never disrespect others, but I focus on myself, on what I can bring to the fight. That confidence, that feeling of joy from being ready. I’m not the only one in the cage. It’s me, him, and an entire nation of Brazilians who are cheering for me and feel the same as I do. That energy will definitely push me forward," Oliveira said, as quoted by Idman.biz via BJ Penn.
For the record, the fight between Fiziev and Oliveira will take place on October 11 at the UFC event in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The bout will serve as the main event of the sports evening.
