“Sometimes you get up, sometimes you fall. But the main thing is to be able to get up.”
These words belong to Azerbaijani MMA fighter Tofig Musayev, reports Idman.biz.
36-year-old athlete shared on his social media account. After losing to Miktybek Orolbay (Kyrgyzstan) at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Baku, Musayev thanked those who supported him:
"This time, victory was not fate. Sometimes a person works hard, believes a lot, but life presents us with different tests. This path is not walked alone. My teammates who work day and night with me on the training grounds, my coaching staff who motivate me every morning - you are not just friends for me, you are a part of this struggle. And your voice... Those calls that rose in the arena, the voice of thousands of people calling my name... I heard and felt your support. Sometimes we can lose a fight, but it is impossible to lose this love." He said that this is not the end: "I will come back. Stronger, more resilient, more confident. Thank you all." It should be noted that Musayev was defeated in the first round of the fight by a painful knockout.
