The headliners of the upcoming UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree Jr. event in Baku, Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr., came face-to-face in a pre-fight event held at Highland Park.
The face-off was also attended by Azerbaijani UFC fighters Rafael Fiziev, Nazim Sadykhov, and Tofiq Musayev, adding local excitement to the international event, Idman.biz reports.
Set to take place on June 21 at the Baku Crystal Hall, the main event will feature a light heavyweight clash between former UFC champion Jamahal Hill and former title contender Khalil Rountree Jr. The co-main event promises more action, with Azerbaijan’s own Rafael Fiziev facing Chilean fighter Ignacio Bahamondes in a lightweight bout.
Also stepping into the octagon will be Azerbaijani representatives Nazim Sadykhov and Tofiq Musayev. Sadykhov will take on Brazil’s Nikolas Motta, while Musayev is set to face Kyrgyzstani fighter Myktybek Orolbay.
