The UFC Fight Night tournament took place in Las Vegas, and its main event took place between the Azerbaijani lightweight mixed martial artist Rafael Fiziyev and the Polish Mateusz Gamrot.
İdman.biz reports that the fight ended early 2 minutes after the start of the 2nd round. Standing up from the ground, Fiziyev attacked his opponent by hitting his body with his right leg and immediately fell down grabbing his left knee.
Despite Rafael's obvious injury, Gamrot attacked, however referee Herb Dean stopped him. Then Gamrot celebrated the victory by running around the cage.
As a result, Fiziyev left the octagon without the results being announced. The Polish, who officially won by technical knockout, indicated that his opponent's injury was related to his defensive actions. He also announced that he is ready to test his skills against Charles Oliveira.
According to the final protocol, Fiziyev won the first round took place on the run, as indicated on the cards of all three judges.
Rafael has 12 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts. But Gamrot has 23 wins and two losses.
