Tyson Fury claims Conor McGregor copied his trash-talking style

Tyson Fury has shared his thoughts on Conor McGregor's ability to promote fights and engage in trash talk.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the British boxer said that speaking publicly and creating hype around fights has always come naturally to him.

"Trash talk? It has always been easy and simple for me. Talking is what I do best. If there was a world championship in talking, I would be the undisputed champion," Fury said in an interview with ALF Global.

He also praised McGregor's promotional skills but claimed the former UFC champion borrowed heavily from his approach.

"Conor McGregor is good too, but I taught him everything. He copied me and my style. I was talking from the very beginning of my career, but I don't try to get inside my opponents' heads," Fury said.

According to the former heavyweight champion, boxing should be viewed as part of the entertainment industry rather than only as a sporting contest.

"For me, boxing is show business. Boxing should be like a Hollywood movie because fans want entertainment. Every fight and every press conference involving Tyson Fury should be a spectacle. It's like a circus," he added.

Fury has long been known for his outspoken personality, theatrical press conferences and ability to generate attention around his fights, while McGregor built a similar reputation during his rise in the UFC.
