Azerbaijani fighters retain ranking positions after UFC 330

The UFC has updated its fighter rankings following UFC 330, with Azerbaijan's lightweight representatives retaining their positions.

As reported by İdman.Biz, Rafael Fiziev remains 13th in the updated UFC Meta Ranking, while Tofiq Musayev continues to occupy 14th place in the lightweight division.

Two other lightweight contenders, Jalin Turner and Esteban Ribovics, secured victories at UFC 330. However, their successful performances were not enough to break into the top 15 and displace the Azerbaijani fighters.

Turner made an impressive return to the Octagon, knocking out Kaua Fernandes just 39 seconds into the first round. Following the fight, the American expressed his intention to return to the divisional rankings, but remained outside the top 15 after the latest update.

Ribovics also earned a stoppage victory. The Argentine lightweight defeated Edson Barboza by technical knockout in the second round, but the result was also insufficient to secure a place among the division's 15 highest-ranked fighters.

The current UFC lightweight top 15:

Champion — Justin Gaethje (USA)

1. Ilia Topuria (Spain)
2. Arman Tsarukyan (Armenia)
