The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira will not compete at the event planned to be held at the White House.
According to Idman.Biz, the Brazilian fighter confirmed the news in a post on his Instagram account. “It seems the White House is not an option,” Pereira wrote, sharing a photo alongside UFC president Dana White.
Pereira, nicknamed “Poatan,” is 38 years old. He holds a professional record of 13 victories, 11 of them by knockout or submission, and three defeats. The UFC event scheduled to take place at the White House is planned for June 14, 2026.
