The current UFC lightweight champion, Georgian-born Spanish mixed martial artist Ilia Topuria, spoke about the fight between Cezar Della Maddalena and Islam Mahachev, Idman.Biz reports.
“If Islam loses to Maddalena, he can go back to Dagestan. Let him graze his sheep on his farm. But if he wins, I will move up in weight. I promise you that. 100%,” Topuria said.
Earlier, UFC president Dana White confirmed that the heavyweight title fight between Della Maddalena and Mahachev will take place at “UFC 322” on the night of November 16.
