Renowned Azerbaijani MMA fighter Nariman Abbasov has opened a gym in memory of his late brother in Baku’s Yeni Ramana settlement.
According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the opening ceremony of the “Arzuman” MMA-Fitness Hall was attended by Minister Farid Gayibov, Nariman Abbasov’s coach Shahriyar Abbasov, and other guests.
Minister Farid Gayibov toured the facility, familiarized himself with the modern training conditions and equipment, and met with athletes to discuss their training environment.
As previously reported by Idman.biz, coach Shahriyar Abbasov revealed that Nariman Abbasov dedicated the gym to the memory of his younger brother Arzuman, who tragically passed away in February 2020 after carbon monoxide poisoning.
