Three Azerbaijani judokas have taken the top positions in the European Judo Union (EJU) rankings.
Zelim Tckaev (81 kg), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg), and Zelym Kotsoiev (100 kg) are currently ranked first in their respective weight categories in the continental standings, Idman.biz reports.
In the world rankings, Tckaev and Hajiyev are ranked second, while Olympic champion Kotsoiev holds the fourth position.
All three athletes achieved notable success at the World Championships in Budapest. Tckaev and Hajiyev won bronze medals, while Kotsoiev secured a silver.
