The European Cup among juniors held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, has concluded.
On the final day of the competition, two Azerbaijani athletes, Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg), won all their bouts and claimed gold medals, Idman.biz reports.
Earlier, Nihad Mamishov (60 kg) and Abil Yusubov (73 kg) had also climbed to the top of the podium. In addition to them, Farid Garayev (60 kg) won silver, and Mahammad Musayev (66 kg) took bronze.
The Azerbaijani national team won a total of 4 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal, finishing 1st in the team standings among 26 countries.
