At the World Judo Tour stage in our country, Ryuju Nagayama (60 kg), Takeshi Takeoka (66 kg), Tatsuki Ishihara (73 kg), and Sanshiro Murao (90 kg) claimed gold medals.
Later, Nagayama, Takeoka, and Murao also won the world champion title.
At the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Baku, Japan topped the overall team standings with 10 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
