European Judo Hopes Tournament begins in Absheron

The European Judo Hopes Tournament and technical sessions by Kodokan experts have kicked off at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, organized by the European Judo Union.

436 athletes (364 boys, 72 girls) representing 88 clubs from 12 countries are competing in the international event, Idman.biz reports.

Winners and medalists will be determined in 33 weight categories in the U-13 and U-15 age groups.

The technical sessions are led by European champion and World Championship silver medalist Aleksandar Kukolj of Serbia and Kodokan expert and World Championship medalist Tokuno Kazuhiko of Japan. These highly experienced trainers are sharing unique knowledge and skills with participants, contributing to their development.
