Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg) defeated Belgian Ray Marinx in his first bout and then overcame Tengo Zirakashvili (Georgia) to advance to the quarterfinals.
In this round, our athlete lost to Olympic bronze medalist Adil Osmanov (Moldova), but secured victory over Mardon Ravshanov (Uzbekistan) in the repechage and will now compete for bronze. His opponent will be Hans-Jorris Ahibo (France).
