The draw ceremony for the Judo Grand Slam tournament to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has taken place.
The first opponents of the Azerbaijani judokas have been determined, Idman.biz reports.
In the 60 kg category, Balabay Aghayev has a bye in the first round. He will face the winner of the match between Konstantin Simeonidis (UAE) and Mendsaikhan Nyamsuren (Mongolia) in the 1/8 finals.
Turan Bayramov, who will also compete in the same weight class, will enter the competition from the 1/8 finals. His opponent will be the winner of the bout between Sumiyabazar Enkhtaivan (Mongolia) and Yuantao Wang (China).
In the 66 kg category, Elshan Asadov will face Jantsandorj Unurbat (Mongolia) in the 1/16 finals.
The tournament will start tomorrow at 08:00 Baku time.
