A meeting was held with the judokas who will compete at the 18th European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF).
According to Idman.biz, the meeting was attended by Executive Vice President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) Rashad Rasulov, Advisor to the AJF President Natig Baghirov, and members of the national teams’ coaching staff.
Federation officials expressed their confidence in the athletes and stated their expectations for a successful performance at the upcoming prestigious tournament. The judokas received advice ahead of the competition and were wished good luck.
The judo events at EYOF will take place from July 22 to 26 in Skopje, North Macedonia. Azerbaijan will be represented in 12 weight categories by 12 judokas (6 boys and 6 girls). The national team will also compete in the mixed team event on the final day of the tournament.
