Azerbaijani judoka Balabay Aghayev (60 kg) will compete as the top seed at the Grand Slam tournament in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
He is ranked first among the selected athletes in his weight category, Idman.biz reports.
Another Azerbaijani competitor in the 60 kg category, Turan Bayramov, is ranked fourth among the seeds.
A total of three Azerbaijani judokas will participate in the competition held from July 25-27. Elshan Asadov will compete in the 66 kg weight category.
