The World Judo Championships in Budapest, Hungary, continue with more Azerbaijani athletes entering the competition.
On the sixth day of the tournament, Azerbaijan’s Zelym Kotsoiev will make his debut in the men's 100 kg category, Idman.biz reports.
Kotsoiev, who received a bye in the first round, will face the winner of the match between Jared Causse (USA) and Gennaro Pirelli (Italy) in the round of 16.
So far, Team Azerbaijan has secured two bronze medals at the tournament, won by Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg).
