The roster for the Azerbaijani national judo team competing at the upcoming World Championships has been officially announced.
13 judokas (9 men and 4 women) will represent Azerbaijan in individual events across 10 weight categories at the tournament, scheduled to take place from June 13 to 20 in Budapest, Hungary, Idman.biz reports.
The national team will compete under the guidance of Performance Director and men’s head coach Richard Trautmann, along with senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov, Elchin Ismayilov, Robert Kravchik, and Slavko Tekic. The women's team is led by head coach Amina Abdellatif and senior coach Sasha Herkenrath-Wimar.
The individual events will be held at the László Papp Sports Arena from June 13 to 19, while the mixed team competition is set for June 20.
