The Azerbaijan national judo team will take part in the European Kata Championship, scheduled to be held in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
The team will feature four athletes who will showcase their skills across multiple kata disciplines. The Azerbaijani squad includes Ismayil Rzayev, Samir Ismayilov, Rafig Najafov, and Seymur Majidli, Idman.biz reports.
The championship will take place from May 31 to June 1 and is expected to draw 332 judokas from 22 countries.
