Since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijani judokas have secured an impressive total of 94 medals on the international stage.
According to Judobase data, Idman.biz reports that national athletes across senior, junior, cadet, and veteran levels have earned 21 gold, 25 silver, and 48 bronze medals.
One of the most recent achievements came at the European Cup in Gori, where Azerbaijani judokas claimed one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.
A significant portion of these results stems from performances in the World Judo Tour, with 17 medals (4 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze) earned at Grand Slam events.
Azerbaijan currently ranks 13th in the overall international medal standings.

France: 64 gold, 37 silver, 80 bronze
Brazil: 61 gold, 47 silver, 77 bronze
Georgia: 55 gold, 54 silver, 60 bronze
