Japan’s judo team secured 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the Grand Slam tournament held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
The victorious team had also claimed the top spot three months ago at the Grand Slam in Baku, Idman.biz reports.
Dota Arai (100 kg) and Hyoga Ota (+100 kg) have each won two gold medals since the start of the year.
Both judokas are expected to represent Japan at the World Championships in Budapest this June.
