European Cup in judo among adults has started in the city of Gori, Georgia.

Azerbaijan is represented by Babarahim Mirzayev, Murad Aliyev and Amin Ismayilov in the 60 kg category, Tofig Mammadov, Nazir Talibov, Kenan Ismayilov, Rashad Elkiyev and Eltaj Yusifli in the 66 kg category, and Rufat Shovlatov, Nariman Mirzayev, Kamran Suleymanov and Gadir Huseynov in the 73 kg category.
A total of 199 athletes from 15 countries will compete in the European Cup.
