The head physician of Azerbaijan’s national judo team, Ramil Valiyev, participated in the 15th Advanced Team Physician Course organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Rome, Italy, reports Idman.biz.
The event brought together over 100 doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and physiotherapists from 39 countries worldwide.
Organized by the IOC’s Science and Medicine Commission, the course focused on advanced training for team physicians specializing in sports. Renowned sports physicians and academics led interactive lectures and tasks, allowing participants to discuss complex cases in sports medicine.
