Members of the Azerbaijan national judo team Hidayat Heydarov and Nizami Imranov are taking part in an Olympic training camp in Papendal, the Netherlands, as reported by İdman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
The international training camp, organised by the European Judo Union, is being attended by the Azerbaijani judokas under the guidance of Azerbaijan Judo Federation vice-president and Olympic champion Elnur Mammadli.
High-level judokas from various countries are taking part in the camp. The programme includes intensive training sessions and randori.
The camp is important for the national team members as it provides an opportunity to train alongside international-level opponents, improve their technical and tactical preparation and get ready for upcoming competitions.
The Olympic training camp in Papendal will run until 14 August.
