The North-West regional championships for U-14 and U-17 judokas will be held.
Idman.Biz reports that athletes from Balakan, Zagatala, Qakh, Shaki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shamakhi, and Gobustan will compete in the tournaments.
The events aim to develop the youth judo base and determine athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas. In addition, the U-17 championship will award important ranking points for selection to the national team.
The tournaments will take place on October 23-24 at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex. Entry to the arena is free.
