The Judo Grand Prix in Lima, Peru, has concluded, with two more Azerbaijani athletes earning medals on the final day of the competition.
Idman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, reports that Murad Fatiyev, competing in the 90 kg category, made a successful return after a five-month break, claiming the silver medal. In the heaviest weight class, +100 kg, 21-year-old Kanan Nasibov won bronze, marking his first medal in the World Tour series.
With these results, the Azerbaijani national team finished the Lima Grand Prix with a total of seven medals. Previously, Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) earned silver, while Rashad Yelkiyev and Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg), and Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) each took bronze.
