Although the transfer window has officially closed, Neftchi are continuing their transfer activities.
Asaf Zeynalli, head of the club’s press service, confirmed the news in a statement to Report. He also commented on speculation linking the club with former Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar.
“Even though the transfer window is closed, our transfer work continues. There are many players we are interested in and monitoring. If there is anything official, the club will make an announcement,” Zeynalli said.
Turkish journalist Resat Can Ozbudak reported yesterday that Neftchi had submitted an official offer to Aboubakar, who is also a member of the Cameroon national team.
