Aliyar Agayev appointed to officiate Champions League match

Azerbaijan’s FIFA referee Aliyar Agayev has been appointed to officiate a UEFA Champions League group stage match.

He will oversee the Copenhagen vs. Bayer game in Denmark on September 18, Idman.biz reports.

Internationally certified referees Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali will serve as his assistants, while Elchin Masiyev will act as the fourth official.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 Baku time.
