The Azerbaijan national football team, set to face Iceland in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, held its first training session in Reykjavik today.
The training was led by head coach Fernando Santos, Idman.biz reports.
The team will hold its final training session on September 4 at 22:30 (Baku time) at the “Laugardalsvollur” stadium, where the match will take place.
The Iceland vs. Azerbaijan match is scheduled to kick off on September 5 at 23:45 (Baku time).
