– You lost 0:1 to Imishli. What are your thoughts on the match?
– It was a tough opponent and a difficult game. We controlled possession, but couldn’t score. On the contrary, they scored against us, and after that, we couldn’t do much. Honestly, we also had few chances to create scoring opportunities.
– How do you evaluate 3 points from 2 games?
– After three rounds (one match was postponed), 3 points is not a very good result, but the championship has just started. We will prepare well for the next matches and try to increase our points.
– Will you be able to make the most of the international break?
– I will join the national team. This creates some challenges because we cannot train together with the club during this time.
– You have been called up for the national team’s camp against Ukraine and Iceland. What are your thoughts on these opponents?
– Of course, the coach trusted me and sent the invitation. I will do my best to be useful for the team. I want to help the national team.
– You have Ukrainian roots. How familiar are you with the Ukraine national team?
– Honestly, I know some of the players. But this is football. During the camp, our coach will analyze the opponents more closely. That’s all I can say for now.
– How did Sabah’s early elimination from European competitions affect you psychologically?
– It was tough for us psychologically because we wanted to continue in European competitions, but we couldn’t. We will focus on moving forward.
– Your first match after the break is against Neftchi. Matches against them are always dynamic. How will you prepare?
– Yes, after the national team camp, we will prepare for this match. We have a 3-day rest now, then training will start. The head coach will determine the preparation plan.
– How has the entry of new teams affected the overall level of the championship?
– I think the overall level has increased. There are more strong teams now, and I believe this season the championship will be more exciting.
