Shamakhi has scored its 400th away goal in the top division of Azerbaijani championships.
The milestone goal was scored by Edgar Adilkhanov, Idman.biz reports.
He found the net in the third round of the Misli Premier League against Sumgayit (1:1). The club, which previously competed under the names Khazar University, Inter, and Keshla, scored its 400th away goal in its 348th away match.
Shamakhi ranks third in this statistic, with only Qarabag and Neftchi having scored more goals on opponent grounds.
The club’s first away goal was scored by Rovshan Suleymanov on November 28, 1999, in a 1-4 defeat against ANS-Pivani.
