Barcelona’s Spanish winger Lamine Yamal converted a penalty in the 40th minute of the Spanish league’s third-round match against Rayo Vallecano.
According to statistics portal Squawka, he thus became the youngest player of the 21st century to successfully score a penalty in La Liga, Idman.biz reports.
At the time of the 1:1 draw, Yamal was 18 years and 49 days old.
The Catalan side’s next match will be at home against Valencia on September 14, kicking off at 19:00 Baku time.
