Former Qarabag goalkeeper Andrey Lunyov has refused to comment on the scandal he was involved in.
The Russian shot-stopper, who currently plays for Moscow’s Dynamo, declined to share his views with Futbolinfo.az regarding the issue that has been widely discussed on social media, Idman.biz reports.
The 33-year-old, who is sidelined due to injury, briefly addressed the footage showing him using snus during a match: “I don’t want to comment on this matter.”
Lunyov is unable to take part in matches because of injury. The snus he was seen using has recently become popular among athletes. Simply put, snus is a smokeless, chewing form of tobacco.
