Borussia Dortmund extends Niko Kovac’s contract until 2027

Borussia Dortmund has announced the extension of head coach Niko Kovac’s contract.

The new agreement will keep the 53-year-old manager at the club until 2027, Idman.biz reports.

Kovac took over Dortmund last winter when the team was 11th in the Bundesliga. Under his leadership, Borussia finished fourth in the league, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
