The Norwegian national team will host Israel on October 11 as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Norwegian Football Association announced that the revenue from the match against Israel will be donated to help the Palestinian people, Idman.biz reports.
The association’s president, Lise Klaveness, commented on this: “Neither we nor any other organization can remain indifferent to the suffering caused by the humanitarian crisis and the disproportionate attacks that Gaza’s civilian population has long endured. We want to donate the proceeds to a humanitarian organization that saves lives in Gaza every day and provides active emergency assistance on the ground.”
