Turan’s former head coach Naci Sensoy shared a post about Qarabag on social media.
The 67-year-old specialist commented on the first leg of the Champions League playoff, in which the Agdam club defeated Ferencvaros in Hungary, Idman.biz reports.
He cited the Azerbaijani champions as an example for Turkiye’s top teams: “Presidents of Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and clubs across Turkiye, go and learn from Qarabag’s management and head coach how to qualify for the Champions League with a €20 million budget. Money is important, but it’s not everything.”
Qarabag won the away match against the Hungarian side 3:1.
