You played your first match for Neftchi in the Azerbaijan Premier League. How do you evaluate your debut?
Everything is fine; it was our first game. I’m new at Neftchi. It’s true that we couldn’t secure a win, but our fans should believe in us. I think gradually we will show better and more attractive football. As long as the coaches give me a chance, I’ll do my best and play at the highest level I can.
What was missing for a full three points in the match against Shamakhi?
Overall, we played well. We were superior in both attack and defense. We had many opportunities to score, but we couldn’t convert them. In football, such things happen.
As you mentioned, you’re new at Neftchi. How is the adaptation process going?
I adapted to Neftchi quickly. I can fit into the team and have adjusted to the playing style. I will perform even better in the next matches.
What is your main goal at Neftchi?
My main goal is the championship. I want to win the Azerbaijani league with Neftchi. I will do everything I can to achieve that.
Can fans already expect Neftchi to start a series of victories toward the championship from the next round?
We are working hard in training. Our head coach is also trying to prepare us better for each game. Fans can rest assured, we will be ready for every match and show our strength.
