Brazilian player Raphael Utzig, who was punished by Rashad Sadygov and sent to the reserve squad for missing the summer training camp, has left Azerbaijan.
Idman.biz, citing Apasport.az, reports that the Brazilian had been training with Zira’s reserve team for some time.
After lengthy negotiations, the club agreed to release him. Utzig has traveled to China, with Zira approving his departure on a loan basis.
The 29-year-old player’s contract with Zira was valid until June 30, 2026. Before joining Zira, he played for Cianorte and Parana (both in Brazil), as well as Gabala and Chungnam Asan (South Korea).
