The bus of Russian football team Tyumen-2 was involved in an accident in the Omsk region.
The team was traveling to Omsk for a Third League match against SibGUFK-Irtysh-2, Idman.biz reports.
Initial reports indicate that around 17:30, near the Tyukalinsk district, the Tyumen-2 bus driver failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with a BMW traveling in the same direction. The BMW then crashed into a truck.
Afterwards, the club bus continued, crossing into the opposite lane and colliding with another truck before veering off the road and overturning.
A 19-year-old passenger on the Tyumen-2 bus was hospitalized with a head injury. One of the truck drivers also received medical attention. Other participants in the accident did not sustain serious injuries.
