Azerbaijan national team footballer Emil Mustafayev’s club for the new season is still unknown. However, it has been confirmed that he will not remain at “Polissya” next season.
Mustafayev, who is not currently at his club’s training camp, is looking for a new team.
According to Idman.biz, the 23-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts about the upcoming season with Apasport.az.
He said that he started the pre-season with “Polissya”: “However, later the management informed me that I need to find a new club. At the moment, I have received offers from several teams, and negotiations are ongoing. I am considering all proposals, but no final decision has been made yet. I am in a waiting position to see how things unfold.”
The midfielder’s contract with “Polissya” is valid until June 30, 2027. He played on loan at “Chornomorets” after the winter break during the 2024/2025 season.
