The midfielder, who last season played in the Second League for “Shahdag Gusar,” has appeared in 451 Premier League matches.
Like him, Mahmud Gurbanov has also surpassed the “400” mark, having participated in 421 games.
The top three is completed by Rashad Sadygov, who has 392 appearances.
Among those who played in the Premier League last season, the record-holder is Gara Garayev. The midfielder of “Araz-Nakhchivan” is 100 matches behind Amirguliyev’s record. Asif Mammadov, who was promoted to the Premier League with “Gabala,” shares the 4th place in the overall list.
