“Sabail,” a contender for the championship in the First League, continues its search for a forward.
Idman.biz, citing Sportal.az, reports tat the Bayil-based club may bring in a foreign center forward.
“Sabail” is currently interested in David Polanco, a player from the US lower league club Carolina Core.
Negotiations are underway between the parties. If the First League club convinces the Colombia-born player, they plan to sign a 1+1 year contract with him. Polanco began his career at the Romanian club “Viitorul.”
He later played for “Essingen” (Germany), “Florida” (USA), “Quindio” (Colombia), and “Barry Buccaneers” (USA).
