France Football announces 2025 award nominees

"France Football" magazine has announced the nominees for the best young player, goalkeeper, coach, and club of the season.

The “Kopa Trophy” is awarded to the best young player under the age of 21. Most recently, the award was won by Lamine Yamal, Idman.biz reports.

Nominees for the 2025 Kopa Trophy:
Pau Cubarsí (Barcelona), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Lille), Desire Doue (PSG), Estevao (Chelsea / Palmeiras), Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid / Bournemouth), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Rodrigo Mora (Porto), Joao Neves (PSG), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), Kenan Yildiz (Juventus).

The Lev Yashin Trophy is awarded to the best goalkeeper in the world. The most recent winner of the award was Emiliano Martinez.

Nominees for the Lev Yashin Trophy:
Alisson (Liverpool), Yassine Bounou (Al-Hilal), Lucas Chevalier (Lille), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid), Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG), Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa), Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), David Raya (Arsenal), Matz Sels (Newcastle), Yann Sommer (Inter).

The Johan Cruyff Award is presented to the best coach in the world, last awarded to Carlo Ancelotti.

Nominees for the Johan Cruyff Award:
Antonio Conte (Napoli), Luis Enrique (PSG), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Arne Slot (Liverpool).

Nominees for the Best Club of the Year:
Barcelona, Botafogo, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG. Last year, the award was won by Real Madrid.

Winners will be announced at the Ballon d’Or ceremony on September 22.
