"Sabah", who will face "Levski" today in the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round, can return from Bulgaria with at least a draw.
According to Idman.biz, this is what former Azerbaijan national team player Emin Guliyev said in an interview with Report news agency.
The 48-year-old former defender, who played for Bulgaria's "Lovech" and "Cherno More" clubs during his career, believes in the Baku representative: “When I was playing in Bulgaria, Levski was a strong team. Their championship was also competitive. Recently, however, they’ve weakened somewhat, they’re not the same as before. I can’t say for sure what level Levski are at now. But I’ve watched Sabah’s recent games. They’re playing solid football. I believe luck will be on our side. Sabah can return from this away match with at least a draw. But to achieve that, you have to fight and give it your all. It’s not just about playing against a Bulgarian club, you have to be motivated against every opponent. At the same time, respect for the opposition is also important.”
The "Levski" – "Sabah" match will be held at the Georgi Asparuhov Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria, and will kick off at 22:00 Baku time.
