Almost all articles of AFFA’s Disciplinary Code have been amended.
According to Idman.biz, this was stated by the chairman of the national association’s Disciplinary Committee, Erkin Huseynov, in an interview with Report news agency.
He noted that the updated Disciplinary Code has been legally improved: “There have been many changes in this document. I can’t go into much detail. But almost every article from the first to the last has been modified. These are not only related to the amounts of penalties.”
Huseynov compared the document to the previous version: “From a legal theory perspective, it now truly resembles a Disciplinary Code. The previous version was somewhat superficial. The current version has been improved by our committee members together with legal experts.”
AFFA announced yesterday the updated version of the Disciplinary Code for the 2025/2026 season. It was stated that the new version has been structurally and legally enhanced, and the existing terminology is now expressed more clearly and systematically.
New concepts have been introduced into the Code, the scope of disciplinary violations has been expanded and clarified, and the types and mechanisms of disciplinary measures have been clearly regulated.
