Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Muarem Muarem, a former player of Qarabag, in an interview with Sport24.az.
The former midfielder shared his thoughts on the first leg of the Champions League third qualifying round, in which the Azerbaijani champion defeated Shkendija in North Macedonia (1-0): “Both teams had scoring opportunities. It was a tough game for both sides. Tactically, Qarabag perhaps looked a bit more stable. But let’s not forget that the return leg is still to come. The fate of the tie will be decided in that match.”
The return match between the teams will take place in Baku on August 12.
